Put on your ruby slippers and join us for the combined entertainment of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra – live! – and the classic Judy Garland film The Wizard of Oz. A very special evening to benefit Community One Foundation, presented by RBC Royal Bank.
Get into the spirit by dressing up – it's Hallowe'en weekend! – as your favorite Oz character. Scarecrows, Tin Mans, Cowardly Lions, witches, flying monkeys, and Munchkins are all welcome! Enjoy the concert and film with a drink in hand! Show starts at 8:00 pm.
Our 200 VIP guests are invited for light refreshments and food at our 5:30 pm, pre-show, Cocktail Reception at Joe Badali's Ristorante Italiano & Bar. 156 Front Street West – walking distance from Roy Thomson Hall.
The Cocktail Reception will honour the winner of the 2011 Steinert and Ferreiro award – Canada’s largest award recognizing significant contribution and/or leadership in the LGBTQ community.
Please bring your eventbrite print outs to the pre show Cocktail Reception at Joe Badali's in order to redeem your tickets to the Roy Thomson Hall. Eventbrite print outs will not allow entrance into the Roy Thompson Hall. If you can not attend the pre-show Cocktail Reception, there will be a Community One Foundation table at the Roy Thomson Hall entrance to redeem your official tickets.
